From Jnich851 at aol.com Fri Apr 6 07:00:01 2007 From: Jnich851 at aol.com (Jnich851@aol.com) Date: Fri Apr 6 09:00:31 2007 Subject: [Acbostonalums] Antioch alumni Boston event! Gathering and program, April 29 Message-ID: April 29, 3?6 pm, Nagog Woods Village in Acton, MA Come to a social gathering and a presentation called CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING. Around 4 pm, Niela Miller, '57 will facilitate an hour-long interactive and fun experience using multiple intelligences. She will introduce arts processes such as drawing, story, movement, writing, fantasy or a combination thereof as you focus on an issue of your choice. In small groups working on similar concerns, you will have the opportunity to share and enrich one another?s experiences and possible applications. When concerned with social, political, or personal challenges, we can generate many more ideas and perspectives by incorporating sensory (visual, auditory, tactile, kinesthetic) tools for collecting data and coming up with new approaches than we would simply by thinking or talking. We will provide drinks and paper goods. Please bring finger foods and/or a dessert. (We will ask for small contributions to cover costs.) Please let Niela know if you plan to come: _nielam@comcast.net_ (mailto:nielam@comcast.net) or 978-264-4565. Directions: From the east: Take Rt. 2 west to the Concord rotary and 2A-119 off the rotary. Cross Rt. 27 and after a mile or so, watch for the "Video Signals" store sign on your right. Turn right and watch for a small "Clubhouse" sign and balloons about half a mile into circular road. Take a right and park anywhere in the lot across from the clubhouse. >From Rt. 495 or points west, take Rt 2A-119 east at Littleton Center, go 3 miles, and watch for Scupper restaurant on your left (usually lit up) and traffic light. You will take the next left opposite the lake into the Village of Nagog Woods, come half way around the circular road (about half a mile) and look for a small ?Clubhouse? sign on your left. Niela Miller, MS Ed, LMHC, combines her background in creative arts/theatre (her major at Antioch), education, organization development and humanistic psychology to serve individuals, groups and organizations.
