Email [ mailto:mbrower32@comcast.net ]mbrower32@comcast.net To Boston Area Antioch Alums: After a period of having no Coop students in the Boston area, we now have Rachel Sears starting on April 30 in an unpaid internship with our own Carol Greenwald ?77, Director of Development Of Childrens Programming at WGBH-TV. Because she cannot be paid by WGBH-TV, Rachel needs our help. Tom Haugsby, Director of Antioch Coop Education, has written me asking that I request your help. Here is Tom?s message: ?WGBH has now confirmed an internship placement for Rachel Sears for the summer. [She will be there from April 30 through August 17]. They will not pay her. It's a perfect fit otherwise. She's a game student who will work for what she is pursuing, but will need some supports. Could you and/or the alumni group consider offering a combination of the following: room and board? a part time job? inexpensive housing that her part time job could allow her to pay for?" Let me add that Rachel will be the only Co-op student currently in Boston, she will have NO car, and we would very much appreciate offers of help, or ideas, from everyone to help her handle this time of an interesting internship, but witih no pay! Please respond to Rachel Sears at: [ mailto:ras4750@yahoo.com ]ras4750@yahoo.com And inform me at: [ mailto:mbrower32@comcast.net ]mbrower32@comcast.net Carol Greenwald, at: [ mailto:carol_greenwald@wgbh.org ]carol_greenwald@wgbh.org and Tom Haugsby, at: [ mailto:thaugsby@antioch-college.edu ]thaugsby@antioch-college.edu Thank you very much for any help you might offer.
