Julia (Dolphin) Trahan ’91 writes: “Aloha everybody! Things are looking pretty good. I’ve just finished a two-year stint ‘Down Under’ studying Arts Management and am now working as a video editor for the University of Hawaii Center for Disability Studies. Two videos are on Ho’oponopono, the Native Hawaiian conflict resolution process. It’s very exciting. I also wrote a book (waiting impatiently to be published) called Bodytalk=Survival: from victim politics to human rights, which I hope folks will read and tell me what they think. I still perform and do spoken word and would like to do a U.S./Canada tour…but right now I’m just trying to remember what side of the car to get in on!” Bethany Saltman ’92 and Thayer Case were married June 10, 2001. The couple met while studying Zen Buddhist liturgy and meditation at the Zen Mountain Monastery in Mount Tremper, NY. Karrmyn (Kimble) Strama ’92 writes: “Three years ago I got married to a wonderful man, Werner from Peru. We are happy and planning a family. Recently I became a certified mediator for the Colorado court system. I hope to do some work with victim-offender programs for juveniles as well as some arbitration. I often think of Pat Linn who showed me such kindness when I was hospitalized and diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I am now recovering from a colostomy – healthy, happy and loved. Write: 2652 South Logan Street, Denver, CO 80210.” Melaina Eller ’93 and Crissa Cummings ’95 celebrated their commit- ment ceremony on September 6, 1997. Caroline Good ’93 received her Master of Library Science from the University of Kentucky in 1997. She is currently a trustee of Green Dome Temple, an umbrella spiritual organization. Bernard Marglous ’93 e-mails: “I’m married to my soul mate Berri and working in my dream job helping people with disabilities achieve their dreams. I’m also working on completing my third book.” Christian Feuerstein, ’94 writes: “Hello all you beautiful, weird, wonderful folks. I am currently in Maine (strange) and I am about to marry Michael Heffernan ’96 (not so strange – more akin to inevitable). I am finally a homeowner, and I am trying to bring real typesetting skills to the backwoods. It’s not easy, but it’s always rewarding fighting the good fight! Write to me at christ@quipdesign.com.” Laura Brownlee Pineda ’94: “Hi all! It was a big year for me – I got married in September, merged my photography business with a good friend and wonderful photographer, bought a house, and began teaching at New England School of Photography in Boston. Would love to hear from old friends. Please contact me through my website: www.alternateangles.com. Jill Fyfe ’95 writes that she and husband Matt are expecting a child in August 2001. Charles Stein ’95 e-mails: “Birch First!” Louisa Pecchioni ’97: “Hi to everyone. I hope all are well. I graduated from Wright State Medical School June 8, and will start a general surgery residency program here in Dayton this summer. I also recently became engaged to a fantastic guy, Gabe Bender (Steve Schwerner’s ’60 nephew). No wedding plans yet, but I’ll be sure to stay in touch. Much love to all. Write: 1009 Colwick Drive, Dayton, OH 45420, pecchioni@yahoo.com.” Justin Schlesinger-Devlin and Elizabeth Schlesinger-Devlin ’97 write: “We have relocated to Trinidad, CO where Justin is the solo Pastor of the United Presbyterian Church. He graduated with his Master of Divinity in 2000 from Princeton Theological Seminary and his Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. His current “call” is to relocate and redevelop the church. I have transferred my Professional Teaching License to Colorado State and am presently looking for a teaching position in or around Trinidad. Our daughter Delaney celebrated her first birthday at the end of July!” Mindy Childress ’98 e-mails: “Currently living in Cleveland with my partner Andrew and trying to decide whether to move somewhere fun and silly, or go to school and work toward an MBA. Working as an Account Executive and Media Director for a small marketing firm, and spending all of my free time working as a professional actress in Cleveland’s (surprisingly) active theatre scene.” Dana Clark Felty ’98 e-mails: “I’m currently organizing alumni in the Washington DC metro area for a DC Antioch Alumni Network. We just launched an undertaking to call up the huge list of alumni in the region and let them know we’re planning social events.” Contact Dana at dfelty@antioch-college.edu.
