The
Synthesis Dialogues
College
Professors Jim and Cheryl Keen shared a summary of their meeting with
His Holiness, the Dalai Lama at the Yellow Springs Dharma Center in early
August. The meeting took place in the context of the Synthesis Dialogues,
a week-long invitational conference in Trent, Italy, convened by the Association
for Global New Thought. The Dalai Lama joined the group of 40 participants
for the final two days, focusing on topics such as dreaming a new dream,
globalization with a heart, and religious and cultural freedom for Tibet.
Jim and Cheryl appear with His Holiness, Richard Rosenkranz, founder of
World Tibet Day and the Interfaith Call for Freedom for Tibet and recent
speaker at Antioch College, and Brother Wayne Teasdale, author of The
Mystic Heart and participant in the first three years of Antioch’s
Summer Peace Institute.
