and Global Studies Hassan M. Nejad, Executive Vice President and Dean of Faculty and Professor of Political Science and International Relations. Favorite Courses: International Law and Middle East and North Africa. Hassan was accepted to participate in a seminar titled “Central Europe’s Environmental Crisis: Scientific, Social and Cultural Perspectives.” The seminar runs from June 9 to June 26, 2003 and is funded by the Mellon Foundation through the Global Partners Project, a collaborative venture among three consortia - Associated Colleges of the Midwest, Associated Colleges of the South, and Great Lakes College Association. This project aims to enhance international education through faculty and staff development. It is designed to bring new elements into the teaching and research of consortia faculty by introducing them to important issues in Central Europe.
